Pop Paper City is an exciting new 3D childrenā€™s show airing on broadcasters around the world, including the UK. We are currently recruiting to expand our team, and we are on the look for an array of positions.

The Compositor will work alongside our Animation Director to bring to life the final rendered shots.Ā  Ā As a skilledĀ After Effects user, they will add atmosphere and VFX elements, applying the finishing touches to shots as well as combining live-action footage with CGI backgrounds.

Key Skills and Responsibilities :

  • Add VFX elements such as smoke, atmosphere, lens flares and glows.
  • Chroma Keying live-action plates
  • Compositing live-action footage on CGI backgrounds making sure lighting and shadows are realistic
  • Meet daily quotas for finished Composites
  • Colour correcting any required shots.
  • We need people with experience or understanding in the following:
  • Experience using After Effects and Red Giant VFX Suite
  • Experience in Cinema 4D

  • Able to take direction and willing to address constructive feedback
  • Able to communicate clearly with colleagues
  • Able to work collaboratively, as well as independently
  • Be able to deliver on schedule, working calmly and efficiently under pressure
  • Have an appreciation of accuracy and pay close attention to detail

Required Experience :

  • At least 1+ years production experience.
  • At least 2+ yearsā€™ experience of compositing in After Effects
